“Wherefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptable unto thee, and break off thy sins by righteousness,
and thine iniquities by showing mercy to the poor; if it may be a lengthening of thy tranquillity.”

Message:
The way of man seems right to him until the rod of correction reaches him. No one understands the right thing to do unless it’s shown to him. As the Bible says in Proverbs 12:15, “The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: But he that hearkens unto counsel is wise.”
Just as a little baby believes what they’re doing is right, a person without Calvary experience also finds it hard to receive the Father’s leading through the Holy Spirit. A life without the Holy Spirit is like a car without headlights.
The life you’re living might seem best to you, and society might see it as an acceptable way of life, but what does heaven say? Have you received the Lord’s counsel? Lamentations 3:40 says, “Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the LORD.”
Turning to God is an act of repentance and total submission to His will. If you’re living life confidently without corrections, like a child without parental guidance, you’re bound to commit blunders that could seriously injure your destiny. To be free from this error, you need to turn to the Lord for guidance.
Heaven is the goal; check your life today. Repent from every known and unknown sin, ask the Lord to forgive you, and surrender your life to Him today. It shall be well with you as you turn to the Lord, in Jesus’ name.

- Â O Lord, I thank you for the gift of this new day, in the name of Jesus.
- O Lord, give me the power to receive your counsel and submit to the leading of the Holy Spirit, in the name of Jesus.
- Every stumbling block on my way to eternity, be rolled away, in the name of Jesus.
- The spirit of fear assigned to kill my faith and confidence in God, be roasted by the fire of the Holy Ghost, in the name of Jesus.
- I will not be a prey to the enemies of my soul, in the name of Jesus.
- O Lord, reveal to me the secret of my breakthrough so I can live a fulfilling life in this world and the hereafter, in the name of Jesus.
- O Lord, bring into my path breakthroughs that will make my service to heaven easy and fulfilling, in the name of Jesus.
- O Lord, open unto me the gate of eternal treasure, so that my service to you will become easy and fulfilling, in the name of Jesus.
- I take dominion over today and subdue everything created by God to be under me; let them begin to cooperate with my success and work in my favor, in the name of Jesus.
- O Lord, by your mercy, give me the grace to live according to your purpose for my life, in the name of Jesus.
- O Lord, by your mercy, count me worthy on the last day and let eternity be my gain, in the name of Jesus.
