Evangelism School
About Course
Introduction
Evangelism is a ministry that took its source from the book of beginning. (Genesis 1:2) God himself started the ministry of seeking for lost souls (Genesis 3:5-13). More than any other assignment in the vineyard of God, a Christian ought to concentrate more on soul winning because it is a believer primary spiritual assignment after conversion (Act 9:18-20). The word evangelism is derived from the Greek word “Evangelion” which means good news, good tidings, message of hope to the whole world for hearing, deliverance and salvation (2 Corinth 1:10). Evangelism is a ministry (Eph. 4:11) is the ultimate concern of the Almighty God. It is the great commission, and every believer has been mandated to be a participant. Evangelism is soul winning orientated (Prov. 11:30). Moreover evangelism can be further explained to be a concerted effort made by faithful believers to take the gospel to the world in order to win souls for Christ. Therefore, a faithful Christian is a true witness of the gospel.
