EveryMan desire rest - Eternity in View

Memory Verse: Psalm 20:7-8

“Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: But we will remember the name of the LORD our God. They
are brought down and fallen: But we are risen, and stand upright.”

Bible Reading: Genesis 2

Message:

Every man desires something special – rest. The Bible says God rested (Genesis 2). As every soul desires to rest, God’s rest is not just about resting on your couch or sofa; it’s about entering His kingdom.

Whatever you desire to achieve in life, if it takes away your peace and makes you an outcast, it’s not worth doing. Prioritize eternity because that’s where you’ll have your eternal rest and everlasting joy.

If you’re still playing with sin and haven’t discarded worldly affairs, it means you’re not ready to enter His rest. If there’s anything in you that’s a work of darkness, it won’t allow you to enter His rest. If you fail to seize from the works of the flesh, it’ll be difficult to enter His rest at the end of the race.

Now’s the opportunity to make amendments and return to God. By Confess your sins to the Lord, ask Him to forgive you, and open your heart to receive Him as your Lord and Savior if you haven’t done so. Be ready to obey and follow whatever the Lord says to you. I pray you won’t regret it on the last day, in Jesus’ name.
